Composition:- Amoxicillin and Potassium clavulanate 625 mg

Amoxicillin:- It is an antibiotic often used for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections.

Potassium Clavulanate:- It is a combination medicine used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria.

Mode Of Action:-  

Amoxicillin:-  It is similar to penicillin in its bactericidal action against susceptible bacteria during the stage of active multiplication. it acts through the inhibition of cell wall biosynthesis that leads to the death of the bacteria.

Potassium Clavulanate:- It is a β-lactam drug that functions as a mechanism-based β-lactamase inhibitor. While not effective by itself as an antibiotic, When combined with penicillin group antibiotics, it can be overcome antibiotic resistance in bacteria that secrete β-lactamase.
