MOXIMP EYE DROPS 

Indication :

• MOXIMP Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible strains of bacteria. They may also be indicated for other bacterial eye infections as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

Composition :

• Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride IP 0.5% w/v : An antibiotic that belongs to the fluoroquinolone class. It works by inhibiting bacterial enzymes needed for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination.
• Benzalkonium Chloride Solution IP 0.02% v/v : A preservative with antibacterial properties that helps maintain the sterility of the eye drops.

Uses : 

• Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.
• Prophylaxis and treatment of postoperative infections following eye surgery.
• Treatment of other bacterial infections of the eye as determined by a healthcare provider.
