MOXIMP D Eye Drop

Indication :

• MOXIMP D Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other bacterial infections of the eye accompanied by inflammation. They are also indicated for postoperative prophylaxis and treatment of inflammation and infection following eye surgery.

Composition :

• Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride IP 0.5% w/v: An antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class, inhibiting bacterial enzymes necessary for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination.
• Benzalkonium Chloride Solution IP 0.02% v/v: A preservative with antibacterial properties, maintaining the sterility of the eye drops.
• Dexamethasone Phosphate 0.1% w/v: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling in the eye.

Uses :

• Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.
• Management of inflammation and pain associated with eye infections.
• Prophylaxis and treatment of postoperative inflammation and infection following eye surgery.
• Treatment of other bacterial and inflammatory eye conditions as determined by a healthcare provider.
