Here is an Association called AIANMA-All India Ayurvedic & Nutraceutical Manufacturer’s Association

For a long time, there was confusion between the Nutraceuticals manufacturers and marketers regarding some of the rules of FSSAI i.e FOSCOS.

All these misconceptions have been resolved by the FSSAI officials and the representative of AIANMA on 25 March 2022 by mutual discussion.

Officers strictly asked the association to follow the new guidelines under this Gazette and to use of ONLY the permissible ingredients as mentioned in the new gazette.

FSSAI directed to all Ayurvedic & Nutraceutical Manufacturers follow RDA Guidelines during the manufacturing of products with immediate effect

FSSAI further directed us to stop using the following commonly used ingredients with immediate effect, which cannot be used in nutraceutical products

Banned ingredients as per new guidelines are as followed:

1. METHYLCOBALAMIN
2. CCM- CALCIUM CITRATE MALATE
3. FERROUS ASCORBATE
4. PREGABALIN
5. DIACEREIN
6. CYPROHEPTADINE
7. BENFOTIAMINE

Etc.

Who is required to modify their FSSAI license? 

1. Manufacturers (including repackers and relabellers) having licenses issued through the old methodology (granted by FLRS) have to shift to the product selection methodology of FoSCoS. 
2. Manufacturers holding state licenses for products under Nutraceuticals, Health Supplements, Special Dietary & Medical Use Foods. Functional and Novel Food Regulation has to shift to a Central License. 

• The license number will not change on modification.
• Wef April 1st, 2022, the above-stated manufacturers (who have not modified their licenses) will not be allowed to file renewal applications for their existing licenses. File application for modification of license through FoSCoS portal i.e.

FSSAI का मतलब है भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक प्राधिकरण| 

FSSAI प्राधिकरण का गठन भारत सरकार द्वारा 2006 में स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय के अधीन किया था| FSSAI की स्थापना का उद्देश्य देश में खाद्य पदार्थों के उत्पादन और स्टोरेज से संबंधित मानकों और नियमो को तय करना है जिससे सभी को पुष्टिक आहार की प्राप्ति हो |

लाइसेंस में अनिवार्य संशोधन के संबंध में अंतिम तिथि - 31 मार्च, 2022

यहाँ पर हम आपको 25 मार्च 2022 को fssai द्वारा जारी की गई अधिसूचना की जानकारी दे रहे है 

FSSAI ने सभी आयुर्वेदिक और न्यूट्रास्युटिकल निर्माताओं को तत्काल प्रभाव से उत्पादों के निर्माण के दौरान RDA दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करने का निर्देश दिया

FSSAI ने आगे हमें निर्देश दिया कि हम निम्नलिखित सामान्य रूप से उपयोग किए जाने वाले अवयवों का तत्काल प्रभाव से उपयोग बंद कर दें, जिनका उपयोग न्यूट्रास्युटिकल उत्पादों में नहीं किया जा सकता है

नए दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार प्रतिबंधित सामग्री इस प्रकार है:

1. METHYLCOBALAMIN

4. PREGABALIN
5. DIACEREIN
6. CYPROHEPTADINE
7. BENFOTIAMINE

तथा अन्य 

किनको FSSAI लाइसेंस संशोधित करने की आवश्यकता है?

1. निर्माता (रीपैकर और रीलेबलर सहित), जिन्हें पुरानी कार्यप्रणाली (FLRS के माध्यम) से लाइसेंस जारी की गई थी, को FoSCoS के तहत उत्पाद चयन पद्धति में स्थानांतरित करना होगा।
2. वे निर्माता, जिनके पास न्यूट्रास्युटिकल्स, स्वास्थ्यपूरक, विशेष आहार एवं चिकित्सा उपयोगी खाद्य पदार्थ तथा कार्यात्मक और नव खाद्य विनियमन के तहत उत्पाद के लिए राज्यों का लाइसेंस है, को केंद्रीय लाइसेंस लेना होगा।

• FSSAI लाइसेंस में संशोधन करने से लाइसेंस नंबर नहीं बदलेगा।
• 1 अप्रैल 2022 से प्रभावी उपरोक्त निर्माताओं (जिन्होंने अपने लाइसेंस में संशोधन नहीं करवाया) को अपने वर्तमान लाइसेंस के नवीनीकरण के आवेदन की अनुमति नहीं होगी। FoSCOS के पोर्टल यानी foscos-fssai-gov-in पर लाइसेंस में संशोधन के लिए आवेदन दाखिल करें या कोई जानकारी के लिए 1800112100 पर कॉल करें।
