Composition :  Levocetirizine 5mg + Montilukast 10 mg

Levocetirizine : It is an antihistamine.it is an antiallergic agent which is used to relieve allergy symptoms.

Montilukast : It is known as leukotriene receptor antagonists.it is used to prevent and manage asthma symptoms and to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergies.

Mode Of Action

  Levocetirizine is a  histamine H1 receptor antagonist. This prevents the –ve symptoms associated with histamine release and an allergic reactions.

Montilukast : It works by blocking the action of leukotriene D4 in the lungs resulting in decreased inflammation and relaxation of smooth muscles.

Indications and usage:-

  Levocetirizine:

• Sneezing
• Itching
• Watery eyes
• Runny nose
• Anaphylaxis

Montilukast :      

• It is used to prevent wheezing and shortness of breath caused by asthma.
• It is used before exercise to prevent breathing problem during exercise.
• Used to relieve hay fever
• Allergic rhinitis

• Dry mouth
• Sore throat
• Drowsiness
• Sedation
• Dizziness
• Fatigue (weakness or tired)

Montilukast :                                            

• Anxiety
• Weakness
• Pain in arms and leg
• Rashes
• Dizziness
