Composition : Levocetirizine 2.5mg, Montelukast 4mg

Levocetirizine: It is an antihistamine. it is an antiallergic agent which is used to relieve allergy symptoms.

Montelukast: It is known as a leukotriene receptor antagonist. it is used to prevent and manage asthma symptoms and to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergies.

Mode Of Action

Levocetirizine is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist. This prevents these symptoms associated with histamine release and allergic reactions.

Montelukast: It works by blocking the action of leukotriene D4 in the lungs resulting in decreased inflammation and relaxation of smooth muscles.

Indications and usage:-

Levocetirizine:

• Sneezing
• Itching
• Watery eyes
• Runny nose
• Anaphylaxis

Montelukast : It is used to prevent wheezing and shortness of breath caused by asthma.

• It is used before exercise to prevent breathing problem during exercise.
• Used to relieve hay fever
• Allergic rhinitis

Side effects:-

Levocetirizine:

• Dry mouth
• Sore throat
• Drowsiness
• Sedation
• Dizziness
• Fatigue (weakness or tired)

Montelukast:

• Anxiety
• Weakness
• Pain in arms and leg
• Rashes
• Dizziness
• Sleep Walking
