Magaldrate: Magaldrate is a common antacid drug that is used for the treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers, esophagitis from gastroesophageal reflux.

Simethicone :Simethicone is an antifoaming agent used to reduce bloating , discomfort or pain caused by excessive gas.

Mode of Action :-

Magaldrate:  Magaldrate neutralizes gastric acid ,reducing the direct acid irritant effect. This increases gastric pH, which inactivates pepsin. It also enhances mucosal barrier integrity and improves gastroesophageal sphincter tone.

Simethicone: :Simethicone is anti-gas (anti-flatulence) medication. It acts in the stomach and intestine to change the surface tension of gas bubbles, enabling  their breakdown and the formation of larger bubbles. In this way it is believed that gas can be eliminated more easily by passing flatus.
