Composition: Cefoperazone 1000mg, sulbactam 500mg

Cefoperazone: Cefoperazone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective in treating Pseudomonas bacterial infections.

Sulbactam: Sulbactam is a β-lactamase inhibitor. This drug is given in combination with β-lactam antibiotic to inhibit β-lactamase, an enzyme produced by bacteria.

Mode of Action:-

Cefoperazone and Sulbactam: Cefoperazone exerts its bactericidal effect by inhibiting the bacterial cell wall synthesis and sulbactam acts as β-lactamase inhibitors, to increase the antibacterial activity of cefoperazone against β-lactamase producing organisms.
